Who Office 2021 for Mac makes sense for in 2026
Your work is documents, emails, and occasional presentations. You’re not doing complex Excel work. The 2021 suite covers everything you need and the feature gap versus 2024 is immaterial for your workflow.
Moving from Office 2019 for Mac (which is already out of support) to 2021 is still a meaningful upgrade — better Apple Silicon performance, more functions, improved UI across the apps. You’re not left behind; you’re moving forward at a lower price point.
